The Hooded Raven ™ Ceremonial Viking Drinking Horn Cup Canvas Bag Included

Drinking horns were used as a ceremonial drinking vessel for those of higher status all throughout the medieval period. This horn mug is carefully hand-made from a single piece of horn which has been meticulously cut to the right size and then heated and properly shaped before finally receiving its thick resin base. After that it is fully cleaned and then polished and sealed inside with a food-safe sealant so it completely safe to drink from. Its decoration consists of a beautiful border made of pure brass and of lovely hand carved classic Viking patterns running along the whole circumference of the cup. The bottom is flat so you can conveniently set it down when not in use. A canvas pouch with our logo is included as a free gift. Hand-made from a single piece of buffalo horn.

*Please wash with a gentle detergent and polish with vegetable oil to keep it from drying out. And from time to time you will want to use beeswax to coat the inside to keep from cracking and the inside drying out. Do not fill with coffee or other hot beverages.
