A beast passant walks toward dexter with the right forepaw raised and all others on the ground. Three lion passant guardant are featured in the center of the shield. This seal was the second Great Seal of King Richard the Lionheart. It was also used by his successors until 1340. The three lion passant guardant are featured on a black smaller shield design with golden accents over a reddish cross in the center of the main shield. Decorative simulated grommets adorn the sides. The chief, dexter chief, sinister chief and base have decorative golden accents to add a touch of regal elegance to this piece only a King would carry. This shield has been constructed to resemble a real Medieval Shield but without all the heavy lifting. This piece is great for pretend play for your little ones.
