Tigers Eye Warriors Feasting Horn
Tigers Eye Warriors Feasting Horn
The stone of sound judgement, in medieval times it was used as a powerful amulet against demons and witchcraft. The Tigers Eye Warriors Feasting Horn is polished and dyed to look like the beautiful Tigers Eye stone. Roman soldiers wore tiger eye because they believed it was an "all seeing" eye. Tiger's eye is a variety of quartz characterized by chatoyancy- an optical effect that makes this mineral iridescent, much like the pupils of felines. Set in many pieces of jewelry with diamonds, its golden stripes are due to the presence of oxidized iron and limonite. This horn is polished inside and out for safe drinking. Carry it with you to the renaissance festival or out to a convention when medieval gear is appreciated, or just let it sit on display on your mantle- no matter where you have it you're sure to get lots of compliments on this beauty. *Please wash with a gentle detergent and polish with vegetable oil to keep it from drying out. And from time to time you will want to use beeswax to coat the inside to keep from cracking and the inside drying out.
*Stand is NOT INLCUDED.
