Viking Compass Horn With Jormungandr
Viking Compass Horn With Jormungandr
Impress your friends when you come to dinner table drinking wine straight from this one of a kind Viking drinking horn. This hollowed-out horn features a hand-carved combination of the symbol Vegvisir, the Icelandic symbol for That Which Shows the Way, meaning that the one who wields this symbol will never lose their way through the stormy weather, and the mighty serpent Jormungandr, arch-nemesis of Thor and middle child of Loki and Angrbooa. It is also adorned with brass surrounding the rim that is engraved with a Celtic knot design and a brass tip that is chiseled to favor that of a crocodile. Each Horn is unique, for it is handmade from 100% natural horn, so the size and color will vary. The horn is polished inside and outside to give a shiny, smooth to the touch surface. *Please wash with a gentle detergent and polish with vegetable oil to keep it from drying out. And from time to time you will want to use beeswax to coat the inside to keep from cracking and the inside drying out. Please remember this is a natural item and each piece is unique.
